Today, I and my friends were followed to city tour in Ubon Ratchathani. Before it, we were followed the welcome ceremony like some meeting of the exchange student U to U programs. We were warmly welcomed by the assistant president of the UBU International Relations Office, Prof. Dr. Chalermchai Wongrak. After the meeting, we were continued with campus tour, and directly to the destination of our city tour. Tung Sri Mueang. Tung Sri Mueang is a tourist destination in Ubon Ratchtahani. In this place we will see a giant candle with a flying Garuda statue in the base of the wax buffer which is a landmark in Ubon Ratchathani. With typical Thai architecture. In Tung Sri Mueang neighborhood, there are some temples that are commonly visited, whether to pray or to admire the beauty of the architecture.
Besides praying, you can also try your luck, guys. In some temples provide a means to predict ya. For those of you who are curious, can try it. Some need to spend 5 baht and some are free. Some of my friends are tried this one, and when we read the predicted, we laugh of loudly. Because some of the predicted are funny for us. But we don’t totally believe with the information.
It was already three o’clock in the afternoon, we decided to return to the dormitory. Before that, we stopped briefly to stop at the Chareosri market. Here is the place for failing a diet. Surely you all know the reason? Yupss … here it sells a lot of food. From the baht unit to hundreds of baht. From snacks to heavy meals, from fatty foods to fibrous ones, you can find all in here. We were not too long at the market, after buying food for dinner, we returned to the dormitory. Well, when we go back, we ride the vehicle. His name is Song Tew. This vehicle is a kind of open public vehicle, and the price for one ride is 10 baht, or if it is paid around Rp 5,000.
