SINGARAJA, Tuesday (5/3) 2024 Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha through the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) handed over students who will take part in the Teaching Assistance Program in several Education Units or schools in the Singaraja and Denpasar regions starting today until June 29, 2024 or for the next 4 months.
In the Student handover ceremony which was attended by 38 school principals in the Singaraja area, while from the campus there was a Vice Rector I Undiksha, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Secretary of the Education and Sports Office of Buleleng Regency and of course also attended by several student representatives who will take part in this program. As for the Denpasar region will be held tomorrow in Denpasar.
According to the Chairman of the 2024 Student Assistance Organizing Committee, Dr. I Putu Mas Dewantara, M.Pd.
“The number of students participating in the Student Assistance Program in 2024 is 533 people. As for students who participate in the TEACHING ASSISTANCE Program, the placement is adjusted to the domicile of the student campus itself.” He said.
“To accommodate all students who participate in this program, we have prepared and have collaborated with 55 partner schools, as many as 38 school units in Singaraja and 17 school units in Denpasar.” Said the Head of the School Field Introduction Center.
“On this occasion, let me report that the 2024 Student Assistance Program Assignment will start today, March 5, until the end of June 29, 2024.” Lid.
Meanwhile, when Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.Ti. stated that in the future Undiksha wants to become a Legal Entity State University.
“Let us inform a little about Undiksha’s future plans, namely hopefully it can become a Legal Entity State University. This will facilitate our service to the community. And the Teaching Assistance program, which is only the second batch, is an application from the Merdeka Learning Campus.” He said.
“On this occasion let me quote the message of Ki Hajar Dewantara that every place is a school and everyone is a teacher. We entrust our children in the school of the principals who are our partners, hopefully they can gain knowledge and experience in the implementation of this Teaching Assistance also for our accompanying lecturers. Hopefully this program can also be a place to share experiences between us and the school.” He added.
As the last speech of the Secretary of the Education, Youth and Sports Office, Ida Bagus Gde Surya Bharata, S.Pd, M.Ap. conveyed a message from the Head of Disdikpora of Buleleng Regency.
“We represent the Head of the Office to welcome the younger students who will carry out Student Assistance in 2024 in schools at all levels in our target schools Disdikpora Buleleng Regency. For younger students who will be on duty, keep in mind that you will find some cultural differences at each level of education according to the status of their respective educational units.” He called it excitedly.
“In closing, I would like to emphasize that there is no competition between education units, but what exists is collaboration and mutual cooperation. And the existence of schools in the community must be able to provide benefits to the surrounding environment.” He concluded.
As a symbolic form of handing over students to partner schools, a list of names of students who will take part in the Student Assistance program from Warek I was handed over to the Secretary of the Disdikpora of Buleleng Regency and then handed over to representatives of the Principal.
