Singaraja, 31 October 2024 – In order to support students to succeed at the beginning of their campus life journey, the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) held a public lecture with the theme “Resilience and Stress Management: The Key to Success at the Beginning of the Campus Life Journey”. This event was held in the Undiksha Postgraduate Auditorium, Thursday (31/10).
Present as resource persons, Dewa Gede Firstia Wirabrata, Undiksha lecturer, and I Gusti Ayu Putu Mas Jayanti from the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Buleleng Regency. In this session, the two discussed the importance of resilience and stress management skills as success factors for college students embarking on their higher education journey.
Dewa Gede Firstia Wirabrata emphasized the importance of having a strong mental attitude in facing academic challenges and campus life. “Resilience is the ability to bounce back after experiencing pressure or failure. Students need to develop these skills in order to be able to survive and stay focused on their goals, even when facing difficulties,” he said.
Meanwhile, I Gusti Ayu Putu Mas Jayanti shared practical tips on managing stress, especially for new students who often face high pressure to adapt. “Stress is a natural part of the learning process. With proper stress management, students can increase their productivity and well-being,” he said.
This event was enthusiastically attended by students who wanted to gain insight and strategies to face challenges in campus life. Through this public lecture, it is hoped that students will be able to improve their resilience and stress management skills as an important provision in achieving academic and personal success.
