The Overseas Field-Work Experience Programme (PPL) is a vehicle for student teacher candidates to practice implementing learning in order to have the ability to demonstrate performance in real situations, both in teaching activities and other teacher assignments based on international educational standards. To carry out this activity, Undiksha collaborates with SEAMEO in the SEA-Teacher scheme to implement the PPL-LN programme in Southeast Asian countries.
In 2019, there were 74 Undiksha students who took part in PPL-LN activities to the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia targeting 11 universities. Meanwhile, in the same year Undiksha also accepted 24 students from Thailand and the Philippines to carry out PPL at the Undiksha Laboratory school. The PPL-LN participants carry out this activity for 1 month (30 days) in two stages, namely SEA-Teacher batch 7 for the period 5 February to 12 March 2019 and batch 8 for the period 11 August to 27 September 2019.
The students who take part in the PPL-LN are spread from various study programmes, including: English Education, Fine Arts Education, Physical Education, Informatics Engineering Education, Physics Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, Chemistry Education, Biology Education, Geography Education, Economic Education, Counseling Guidance, PG-PAUD, and PGSD. Meanwhile, Undiksha accepts foreign students from the English Language Education Study Programme, Informatics Engineering Education, PG-PAUD, PGSD, Social Studies Education and Science Education.
