Singaraja – After conducting the Field-Work Experience programme, 3 students from Hoa Sen University said goodbye to the Undiksha leadership to return to their country. They were released by the Vice-Rector of academic and cooperation affairs Undiksha who also gave the certificate, Tuesday (2/26/2020).
Head of LPPPM Undiksha, Prof. Dr. A.A.I.N. Marhaeni, M.A., who accompanied them, said that these three students carried out the PKL programme at the Puri Bagus Hotel. They came to Undiksha through the SEA-TVET (South East Asia Technical and Vocational Education and Training) scheme. “They have been here for a month doing an internship at the Puri Bagus Hotel,” he said. Marhaeni also revealed that the three students received appreciation from Hotel Puri Bagus for their integrity and willingness to adapt. “They received appreciation from the hotel. Our students are very enthusiastic in implementing the internship programme and also the social relations with the staff are very good,” concluded this English Education lecturer.
One of the Vietnamese students, Han Dinh Thi Khanh said the people of Undiksha were quite friendly and kind, “I gained so many experiences in this trip. About the people, they are so nice and hospitality also the food is so delicious. So, thank you for Undiksha because it had facilitated us to have such an amazing trip which is so interesting),” he said.
Meanwhile, Hoang To Viet expressed his appreciation to Undiksha for providing work experience and Balinese culture during their internship, including the experience of interacting with Undiksha students. “This internship in Bali was the most memorable time for me! I experienced so many new things, how great was it when I found out more about your wonderful culture and met a lot of nice, interesting people here – especially the students from Undiksha. We’re having so much fun and I’m looking forward to seeing you guys again. (Internship in Bali was the most memorable time for me! I experienced so many new things, how great it was when I got to know more about the amazing culture of Bali and met lots of nice and interesting people here – especially students from Undiksha. We enjoyed time together and I hope to see you guys again,” he said.
The same thing was also conveyed by a student named Anh Lan. The academic community at Undiksha is considered very good and friendly. He received good support from the students during this internship. “People of Undiksha University are quite friendly and outgoing. I received many supports from our buddies during the internship here. Many thanks to Undiksha University for giving me such an interesting internship here,” he concluded.
The Field-Work Experience Programme (PKL) and the Overseas Field-Work Experience Programme (PPL) will often be held by Undiksha so that they are able to serve as learning houses for world students to realize the internationalization at home programme launched in 2019. (hms)
