Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) through the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) again fielded five hundred and ninety-two students to take part in internship programs in industry and the world of work (IDUKA). The parachute took place on Thursday (15/2/2024) which was held in Ganesha room 3 of the Undiksha rectorate with speakers from the Head of Women and Children Protection Putu Agustini, SST. Keb., M.A.P.
Secretary of LPMPP Undiksha Prof. Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., who opened the event representing the Rector, said that internship activities in industry are one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka programs implemented by Undiksha.
He explained that the implementation of this internship program is also a form of implementation of Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020 related to the National Higher Education Standard stating that universities must provide flexibility and space for students to take learning outside the study program, both within universities in other study programs and outside universities, namely in industry and in other universities.
Head of IDUKA Undiksha Internship Center, Ketut Udy Ariawan, S.T., M.T said that this internship activity would take place from February 19 to July 12, 2024 which was attended by 592 students from 21 study programs, both educational and non-educational. The implementation of this activity is in collaboration with 300 industries and the world of work. In the implementation of this internship, students will be accompanied by supervisors and will also receive monitoring from the head of the institution. “Then the students will be given several tasks and obligations from mentors in the field,” he explained.
