Teaching system
The teaching system at the PSU Witthayanusorn School, which I observe in the guidance activitie subject, is that the teacher teaches with an atmosphere that motivates students. The way teachers teach in class using material methods and playing games related to the material. When I make observations in class, the teacher measures the ability of students’ interests and talents using the interview method the teacher can find out the interests of students and students immediately practice the talents they have. This test of interest and talent is carried out by the teacher who is used by students to look for universities and to a higher level. So in the learning process at the PSU Witthayanusorn School in counseling guidance subjects using the game method, measuring the ability of interests and talents, as well as Intelligence Tests (IQ).
Materials and other learning sources Materials and sources of learning used by subject matter teachers. Materials use computers, LCD, projectors and learning resources from counseling material books.
Measurement and evaluation system
For the measurement system in the teaching and learning process the teacher uses the pree test and post test system to determine students’ ability to understand the material. While evaluation, the teacher explains the material continuously. for example learning motivation learning material, the teacher explains the material until the end of the semester. So at the PSU Witthayanusorn School in the teaching and learning process in that class explained only one material until the end of the semester. Every semester one subject is focused until the end of the semester.
Teaching Plan (of you major)
In teaching in the department class I was asked to prepare an RPL (Service Implementation Plan). It is from this RPL that I use it for teaching references in class. For the presentation of material in the RPL it has been planned and implemented the material listed on RPL in the learning and teaching process.

Teaching methods of the teacher that you observed
The teaching method applied by the guidance activist teacher uses a question and answer system and uses games and quizzes. This is used to arouse enthusiasm, activity and creativity in students, in addition to this method of gaming, quizzes and question and answer trains students’ ability to think faster and responsively.
Their learning materials and innovation
The material discussed by the teacher in the teaching and learning process in the classroom is material about understanding interests and talents and measuring the interests and talents of each student. In measuring the interests and talents of students in the field of study teachers use the interview method in knowing the interests of students while the teacher’s talent asks students to immediately practice their talents.
Sources of learning and technology used by the teachers
Learning resources and technology used by teachers are sources used in teaching with counseling books and articles obtained from the internet. While the technology used is a computer. LCD, a projector for presenting materials and whiteboards for writing material obtained from presentations.
Authentic assessment used by the teachers
The teacher presents material related to interests and talents, if the teacher has finished presenting the material. First the teacher asks students to form study groups in the class by being given assignments related to interests and talents, later if all groups have finished working on the assignment later the group will demonstrate in front of the class and other groups observe and record weaknesses and strengths. Both teachers ask students to demonstrate the talents they have and the teacher will give an assessment in the form of giving points.
- Teaching Plan
Curriculum
Based on the curriculum in Indonesia, where students must be more active than the teacher. Therefore I as a teacher asks students to explain the material and demonstrate the material described, so that the teacher knows the activity of students in learning.
Teaching Plan
The Teaching Plan that I applied using the presentation method, question and answer, and ended with the pree test. From the pree test, the teacher can measure and know the ability of students during teaching in the classroom and the teacher can re-evaluate the material that has been taught so that students who do not understand become more understanding. This is because in order to enable students to learn and be more enthusiastic. The material I gave when teaching was: motivation to learn, effective learning, and efficient learning. I teach throughout Matthayom 2 by teaching counseling subjects or at the PSU Witthayanusorn School called guidance activities.
In accordance with the curriculum applied in Indonesia, where students must be more active than teachers. Therefore, on the next teaching day, I give assignments to students to present when the teaching and learning process is carried out with a question and answer system. From the question and answer system, the teacher can directly assess students by giving points. Then the points given by the practice teacher will be left to the subject teacher as a measure of ability to learn. So these students are said to be active in the teaching and learning process. In addition the teacher also asks students to form a discussion group about the material discussed. Active students must have study groups or discussion groups, this is because students can contribute ideas or ideas that they put forward and train students to work together with each other among students. In this study group, students can become more active in carrying out the teaching and learning process.

Time management and organizing activities
In carrying out the teaching and learning process in the classroom, the way I manage teaching time is by dividing time:

– Greeting
– Students absent
– Asked for the assignment last week
30 minutes implementation stage
– Ask students to present material
– Question and answer
10 minutes – Provides pree test
Final 5 minutes
– Reflecting material

Problem Solving
During the teaching and learning process I initially felt insecure about teaching, I felt nervous and panicked. I solved the problem by motivating myself to be even better. The result is that I can teach well at that time, students feel happy, and are interested in following the subjects of Gudaice Activitie in class.
Classroom Management
From the beginning before the teaching and learning process began I gave motivation to students to arouse students’ enthusiasm to learn and reach their dreams. In implementing the teaching and learning process, I carried out a question and answer session and conducted a pree test at the end of the lesson. At the end of the lesson I asked students to convey a message and an impression of the teaching and learning process.
- Aesthetics
User friendliness: readable, navigable and usable
Students as prospective teachers in teaching not only aspects of knowledge are considered but also friendliness. Friendliness in teaching is a much-needed aspect, because understanding in teaching will make students reluctant and respectful and work together and build harmonious relationships between teachers and students.
Overall Experience: great content, design, usability and interesting
The experience that I got, I was able to know a little culture in Thailand, especially in the field of language, gain experience in teaching, be able to meet students and teachers at PSU Witthayanusorn so they can establish family relationships, mutual need, mutual respect, and work together same.
- Summary and Suggestions
Purpose of practicum
The purpose of the practicum teaching at PSU Witthayanusorn Surrathani, training the ability of students as prospective teachers in developing teaching skills in schools so that they will be better prepared to jump into schools and the community. In addition to practicing teaching skills, this teaching practice can also develop knowledge that has been obtained during lectures to be applied at school.
Procdures of practicum
There are some procedures before conducting the real teaching practicum in PSU. Wittayanusorn Suratthani School. In the first week, student teacher are gathered by the staff of Prince of Songkla University as the receiving university to meet with the supervising teacher, each student teacher has their own supervising teacher.
In the next day, student teacher meet with their own supervising teacher to talk and discuss about the schedule of teaching and students’ background in the classroom in order to know the characteristics of students in PSU. Wittayanusorn Suratthani School.
Next, student teacher are required to do an observation towards the teacher in teaching the students as a teaching model, in same time also for knowing the teaching and learning situations in the class before starts to conducting the teaching practicum. After the observation was done, the student teacher starts doing the guided teaching practicum for 1 week. During the guided teaching practicum, student teacher conducting the teaching practicum with the guidance from the supervising teacher, supervising teacher give critics and comments towards student teacher in order to be better in teaching. After that, the student teacher is allowed to teach without the guidance from the supervising teacher until the end of the teaching practicum.
Outcomes of practicum
Outcomes of practicum I can develop the knowledge gained during lectures to be applied to the school in mastering teaching skills. The results of that are very successful, this is because students who are enthusiastic in following the material that I provide along with the method are applied.
Challenges from teaching
Challenging the teaching that I experienced, I was beginning to teach feeling very difficult to adapt to students. In teaching I also found difficulties in students’ behavior, their language, which made me feel confused. Every student follows a subject class of students often busy with his own cellphone, at PSU school students are very permitted to carry cellphones to help find material in the teaching and learning process but students use their mobile phones more often by playing. I also find it difficult to implement English when teaching in class. This is because I still don’t fully master the vocabulary in English and students also feel very difficult to use English. Therefore, sometimes students in the learning process are a little nervous in speaking English.
Overall impression
Impression from me in this teaching exercise, I was very happy in teaching at PSU Witthayanusorn because the students and the teacher really helped me. I am very happy to see the cohesiveness of students and teachers in the teaching and learning process.
Suggestion for future improvement
I hope PSU Witthayanusorn School further develops students in learning for their self-success and school success in educating so as to produce students who excel and produce professional teachers.
