Hi!

I am Ni Wayan Desy Prema Asri, people usually call me Desy. I am a student of Ganesha University of Education, Singaraja, Bali. Now, I am in my last year in my study. This year, in 2019, I got a great chance to have a teaching practicum in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Well, I guess you might be wonder how I can get this chance. I will tell you happily!

So, my University, Ganesha University of Education has a program which provides a chance to their students to have a teaching practicum around South East Asia. In 2019, the students of Ganesha University of Education have a chance to do teaching practicum in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, or Philippine. And I got a chance to have a teaching practicum in Vietnam!

Anyway, there are two programs that is held by my University; Sea-Teacher program and University to University (U to U) program, and I joined the U to U program. Here, in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, I am going to teach the students of the University. Isn’t it amazing? Well, you might think how could a student-teacher teaches students of a University? Actually, I thought I would not be able to teach them since we are students of University, but after met my supervisor here, I believe I could do this. Me and the students here are going to learn and teach together!
